The Frequency Response (at 1 watt, 20 Hz – 20 kHz) for the new Crown I-Tech6000 Amplifying Unit comes to ±0.25dB and the Signal to Noise Ratio below rated full-bandwidth power, A-weighted is greater than 105 dB. The Total Harmonic Distortion and Inter modulation Distortion is less than 0.35%. The Damping Factor (20 Hz to 100 Hz at 8 ohms) is greater than 5000 while the Crosstalk (below rated power, 20 Hz to 1 kHz) is greater than 80 dB.
The Common Mode Rejection (CMR) (20 Hz to 1 kHz) is greater than 50dB whereas the DC Output Offset (shorted input) is less than ± 3 mV. A balanced 20 kilohms is the Input Impedance while unbalanced comes to 10 kilohms. Depending on input sensitivity, the Maximum Input Level is +15 dBu or +21 dBu. The provided Latency (analog, digital inputs) are 1.13 mS analog, 1.81 mS digital (96 kHz)A/D, D/A Converters: 24-bit 96 kHz Cirrus Logic while the added Digital Input is AES/EBU, 24-bit, 32-48 kHz. It also has an onboard sample-rate converter.
This amplifier has unmatched power in a 2U lightweight chassis apart from Global power supply with Power Factor Correction and Onboard DSP. Another important feature is that it connects to Harman Pro HiQnet and Crown TCP/IQ network (CobraNet input available in optional CN models, coming soon). Apart from a LCD control screen which allows easy setup, diagnostics, and DSP presets for various loudspeakers it is also Hi-Q Net compatible.
The Guaranteed minimum power output per channel comes to 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Apart from Onboard TCP/IQ network it has 24-bit conversion with 32-bit, floating-point DSP processing along with load supervision. Error Reporting and Attenuators are also added. Five cord sets are supplied with amplifier and the required AC input is 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz (15%). Other added features are Front Panel Controls and LED Indicators, Glowing Blue Screen and Controls, Advanced Menu, Basic Menu, Monitor Menu, MENU/EXIT Button, NEXT Button, PREV Button, Level Controls (encoders) and Power Switch.
The connectors and indicators provided are Power Cord Connector, Switch/Circuit Breaker, Ethernet Connector, Clip Indicator, Thermal Indicator, Fault Indicator, Preset Indicator, Data Indicator and power indicator. The cooling is done by Dual-zone, microprocessor controlled, continuously variable speed fans with front-to-back airflow. The front panel is made of Cast aluminum with integrated handles.
