NAD C272 Amplifier

An amplifier has become a very important accessory in the music systems to amplify the sound output and adds the desired effect to it. You can also fit it to your home theatre system to get the stereo or the surround effect much the same way as in the theatre.
NAD C272 Amplifier uses Phono/RCA connectors with fixed or variable mode switch for input. For output it is provided with 2 pairs of 4 mm banana plug. This grey coloured device has 150 watts of output power per channel with an impedance of 8 Ohms at output power. Totally it consists of 2 stereo channels which provide stereo sound effect. It further has 300 watts bridgeable to mono mode at 8 Ohms, 220 watts, 340 watts and 460 watts of IHF Dynamic Power into 8, 4 and 2 Ohms respectively.
This stereo amplifier has an NAD Soft Clipping power drive. The 12V trigger input is used for remote standby/on switching. It has a double set of loudspeaker binding posts to facilitate bi-wiring. It also features Impedance Sensing Circuit (ISC) topology. All circuits are discrete and all the sockets are gold plated. Both the Fixed and variable inputs can be selected by switch. It is provided with a high current Holmgren Toro dial power transformer.
The IEC power cable is detachable with ATO logic. The damping factor (ref.8Ohms, 50Hz) is greater than 150. The frequency response (20Hz-20 kHz) is +-0.3dB, and the frequency response (3Hz-70 kHz) is -3dB. The input impedance for R and C is 20kOhms/470pf.
The Input sensitivity for rated power into 8 Ohms is 1.3V. The S/N ratio (ref 1W) is greater than 100dB and the S/N ratio (ref rated power) is greater than 120dB. The voltage gain is x28.3 (29dB).
The NAD C272 Stereo amplifier measures 435 mm (width) 132 mm (height) and 350 mm (depth). This device with Graphite finish weighs 11.2 kg. It is meant for DVD-Audio, a Digital Versatile Disc (DVD) format specifically designed to hold audio data and particularly high quality music.
